Mare follow-up at the Station
For follow-up and insemination with fresh semen, ultrasound examinations and insemination are charged separately. When using frozen semen, a fixed fee per cycle applies. For prices, please refer to the “Services” page. All prices are exclusive of veterinary costs and livery fees.
Opening Hours
On weekdays, Steven Dhondt, Katrien Houben and Wouter Pollet hold consultation hours from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, consultation hours are from 9:00 am to 9:30 am.
Mares can always be stabled at our facility but remain under the responsibility of the owner. Please always bring a copy of the studbook papers.
Stud Fees
Stud fees are payable once the mare is confirmed in foal on 01/10/2026, with a live foal guarantee. If the mare is not in foal at the end of the breeding season, a barren mare certificate must be issued by the attending veterinarian. Stud fees listed on the website are exclusive of 6% VAT.
Frozen semen is sold per straw, without a live foal guarantee, unless stated otherwise.
Semen Collection / Shipment
Fresh semen can be ordered by phone from Monday to Saturday before 9:00 am. Semen can be collected on site or shipped. Transport costs are always borne by the mare owner. Please note that stallions may be away at competitions.
With the first order, all details of the mare and the mare owner must be provided.
Zootechnical certificates of our stallions can be requested if required for foal registration (studbook of choice).
